Motivation, Emotions, and a Couple Words
I’ve always had a love for words.
I wrote my first Wattpad book at 11, became a Features Writer and Opinion Writer for the Rising Nepal (the oldest English newspaper in my country of birth) at the age of 15, and started ghostwriting at 19. So when I tell you I read and wrote a lot as a kid, trust me. Or ask my parents who gifted me a Kindle because I went through physical books too fast.
I’ve also been lying to myself.
Over the past couple of years, I’ve stopped writing fiction and opinion pieces for traditional media. As a highly imaginative and opinionated person, I struggled to find my genre and, in turn, lost myself a little: Who was I once I stopped using my words?

A liver, laffer, lover
Who am I once I stop using my voice?
Tbh, I wouldn’t want to know.
Although I wasn’t in the papers anymore, I kept exploring my voice in different settings. Alongside academic writing, I’ve done my fair share of content and copywriting over the years but I’ve found most joy in writing short reflections. And that’s what you’ll find here: a heavily formatted documentation of my thoughts that I enjoy the most.
Enjoy!
More about me
Hi, I'm Annusuya
I started this blog as a way to make myself more consistent and practice outreach- my own way. You might’ve seen my blogs on LinkedIn or on Substack, where I have collaborated with other writers. If so, please let me know! It always makes me happy to hear that my work has reached far and found an audience.
I do research as a hobby, and my curiosity takes me down rabbitholes whenever I get the chance to explore. In my free time, you’ll find me walking in the woods, thinking about entrepreneurship, reading, or watching a video on something I’m too deep into!
I’m also constantly looking for interesting projects to collaborate on, so feel free to drop me a message 🙂

Before You Solve It, Can We Agree on What It Is?
We spent 6 weeks trying to figure out what the stakeholders' problem was. The actual problem we didn’t foresee was how each of us in the team would define the problem in a different manner and look at different hierarchical levels while defining a sometimes...
The Real Reason Your User Personas Fail (YOU)
"One of the main customer segments for our new product will be cisgendered homosexual men, as shown by our user persona- Gerry, 27 from Ohio, enjoys jazz." Stop. "Kayleigh, 31, raised by a single mom, good at maths, likes chocolates." Seriously, stop it. In a day and...

I'm easy to find
I’m always happy to get to know interesting people- be it for a good tangential chat or future collaborations. I’m currently pursuing my long-time interest in sociotechnical systems and harnessing the power of engineers to transform society.
